Our Founding Executive Director, Mary Windt
Mary Windt served as the founding Executive Director of Under One Roof, Inc. for over 25 years. She was pivotal in establishing a community-focused organization that provided quality, affordable housing and support services for older adults and early childhood education to young children. Under her leadership, the organization fostered intergenerational relationships and created a unique living environment that has positively impacted the lives of over 700 residents and hundreds of community youth. Windt’s commitment to community service and her extensive experience in the field have left a lasting legacy, contributing significantly to the well-being of the Norwalk community. Under One Roof is incredibly grateful for her vision, her continued support, and her unwavering dedication to the organization.
